Swiping Cards Feature for IOS App

Hello Stackoverflowers!

I am an iOS noob with very little ios app developing experience and was trying to follow this tutorial: http://ift.tt/1aBVqv2 to add a swiping cards feature into my iOS app.

Since the tutorial was written before SWIFT came out, I am confused on how to implement all the views stated therein. Would appreciate a step by step guide on how to get this feature implemented in the iOS app using xcode 6.4 with swift.
